Hey Lamb Chop Fans,
It’s been a busy few weeks. We’re figuring out strategy at Science News, the magazine won a grant to launch a podcast, and I have been able to travel to visit family at the beach.
It’s been tough to carve the time to write thoughtful posts on what I’ve been watching in the heart space. But I’m still watching — tracking Bronny James’ cardiac arrest, the SELECT trial’s latest press release results (which are promising but need context of complete data, coming in November), and the connection between pollution and heart problems. I am also watching the Hawaii fires; the islands are where I officially kicked off my science writing career. It’s devastating to see the effects of the fires and hurricane winds combined.
More on August 30.
Stay safe. It’s hot! (Extreme heat isn’t great for our hearts.) And have fun (our pup Woody is)!
